Asszisztált reprodukciós technológiák
More about the research objective
Lawyers from several Central European countries participated in the international research project "Assisted Reproductive Technologies" (ART). As part of the project, a multi-authored scientific monograph and various scientific articles and blog studies were prepared between 2024 and 2025, and two international conferences and several dissemination events were organised.
National reports constituted a pivotal element of the scientific project, delving into matters such as the constitutional and axiological underpinnings of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), the principles of ART medical assistance, the intricacies of medical and family law, and the practical implementation of ART in Central European countries. A key aspect of the research was formulating de lege ferenda proposals. The national perspective of the legal analysis of ART was complemented by an analysis of the relevant guarantees in universal and regional international instruments. The legal research was supported by a psychological expert.
