About
Aleksandra Korać Graovac is a Full Professor at the Department of Family Law at the Zagreb Faculty of Law. She is a member of several government committees that have dealt with drafts of family law statutes, personal status laws, and the legislation concerning the registration of same-sex partnerships.

Aleksandra Korać Graovac is a member of the national committee on medically-assisted reproduction. She served as the Croatian representative on the Expert Committee for Family Law (2006-2008) and was also a member of the Council of Europe’s ad hoc committees on family law (2011 and 2012). She is a full member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, a member of the International Society of Family Law, and a member of the Central European Professors’ Network. Additionally, she serves as a scientific advisor to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia.

She was a member of the research group `Protection of family in the legal system´ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2021. She was a member of the research group ‘Content of the right to parental responsibility’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2022. She was a member of the research group ‘Demographic Challenges – legal responses’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2023. She is a member of the research group ‘Assisted Reproductive Technologies’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2024.
