Gordana Kovaček Stanić teaches courses on family law, comparative family law, and the civil law aspects of biotechnologically assisted reproduction. She is a member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts’ committee on national minorities and human rights studies, the Academy of International Family Law Studies, the European academic network on family law, and the Central European Professors’ Network.

She is the author of several Serbian-language books, including „Legal Aspects of Parenthood”, „The Child’s Right to Know Their Origin”, „Comparative Family Law”, „Family Law: Partnership, Child, and Guardian Law”, and „Biotechnological Assistance in Human Reproduction Laws”. She has also written over 100 articles in domestic and international journals.

She is a member of the Committee on National Minorities and Human Rights Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Academy of International Family Law Studies, the European Family Law Academic Network and the Central European Professors Network.

She was a member of the research group ‘Demographic Challenges – legal responses’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2023. She is a member of the research group ‘Assisted Reproductive Technologies’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2024.
