His academic work has long been characterized by a profound commitment to the rule of law, constitutional identity, and constitutional adjudication.
As a judge of the Serbian Constitutional Court, he has demonstrated outstanding professionalism, intellectual rigor, and judicial integrity. The fact that the newly composed Constitutional Court elected him unanimously as its President is a strong testament to the trust and respect he enjoys among his peers.
For the Central European Academy, Professor Petrov is not only an eminent legal scholar but also a valued colleague and partner. He has been a core member of the CEA Professors’ Network in Budapest for many years, actively contributing to its academic mission.
Through his lectures, publications, and contribution to joint research projects, he has significantly enriched constitutional discourse in Central Europe.
