Workshop on the Move: Young Researchers in Strasbourg

The Central European Academy of the University of Miskolc held its Workshop on the Move study trip in Strasbourg between 2–6 March 2026, offering an intensive professional program for young researchers at the European Court of Human Rights. Participants gained first‑hand insight into the functioning of European fundamental rights protection and explored current developments in the Court’s case law.

Throughout the program, distinguished speakers presented the structure and procedures of the Court, as well as the evolution of human rights jurisprudence. The aim of the study trip was to create a professional environment where legal theory and institutional practice meet, supporting deeper understanding and future research.

According to participants, the multi‑day program was not only academically enriching but also provided an inspiring opportunity for young legal scholars to connect directly with one of Europe’s most significant human rights institutions.
