On the 2nd and 3rd of June, first-year PhD students at the Central European Academy had the opportunity and privilege to attend two SUP workshops delivered by Full Professor Dr. Suzana Kraljić from the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor.
In her engaging presentation titled “Elderly Rights in the Digital Age: Challenges and Opportunities”, Professor Kraljić offered a comprehensive overview of the topic. Given her impeccable academic background in family and inheritance law, she addressed key issues and concepts that arise in the scope of inheritance, the rights of the elderly, and the social, financial, and legal challenges older individuals are facing daily – not only in Slovenia, but globally.
The lecture also included thought-provoking statistics and raised important legal questions concerning healthcare and digital development. Her engaging presentation provoked many interesting questions and discussions among the students.
