On 26-27 May, the second-year PhD students of the Central European Academy participated in a two-day professional programme, during which renowned foreign academics shared their experience and knowledge.
On the first day, Pawel Sobczyk, Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Opole, held a workshop on effective delivery of academic lectures. Students were given detailed guidance on how to make effective presentations at conferences.
On the second day, an interactive lecture on practical issues in forensic science was led by guest speaker Dr Rafal Wielki. The programme covered crime scene investigation, handwriting analysis and the examination of security features against counterfeiting, such as banknotes and authenticity marks on official documents.
These two days provided the PhD students not only with in-depth professional development but also with practical knowledge.
