On January 9-10, Prof. Dr. Marcin Wielec from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw delivered a lecture to the PhD students of the Central European Academy.
The lecture explored key aspects of Polish criminal proceedings, offering an in-depth analysis of the stages of criminal procedures and the practical execution of selected procedural steps. Prof. Dr. Wielec highlighted the importance of evidence in ensuring fair and efficient trials, with a particular focus on the evolving role of electronic evidence in contemporary legal systems and its practical application in criminal cases. Additionally, the Professor addressed new trends in criminal procedure, shedding light on selected issues shaping modern legal practices. This inspiring lecture enabled students to gain a deeper understanding of contemporary changes and challenges in the field of criminal law and procedure.
