Dr. Enikő Krajnyák is this year’s winner of the René Cassin Thesis Prize

The head of the Academy’s Institute for Human Rights and European Law, Dr. Enikő Krajnyák, has won the René Cassin Institute’s thesis prize in Strasbourg for her English-language PhD dissertation. The prestigious award is given to the author of the best English-or French-language doctoral dissertation of outstanding scientific quality in the field of international human rights.

The award is named after René Cassin, Nobel Peace Prize-winning French jurist, the main drafter of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and former President of the European Court of Human Rights. Thanks to this significant international professional recognition, the awarded dissertation will be published by the renowned Parisian publisher Éditions Pedone. The Academy is particularly proud that our colleague received this prestigious award this year in the European Parliament. We would like to congratulate the award winner and her supervisor, Associate Professor Dr. Anikó Raisz!
