On 17 March 2025, the Serbian legal cultural evening took place.
This landmark event presented an in-depth overview of key aspects of the Serbian legal heritage: the development of the Serbian legal language in medieval and modern legal texts, the heritage and historical significance of the Serbian Civil Code (1844), the development of Serbian criminal law in different legal eras, the legal-political framework of the Yugoslav socialist self-administration system, and the academic contribution of the leading Serbian jurists of the 20th century to European jurisprudence. In addition, the historical and architectural significance of some of Serbia's most important court buildings and faculties was explored. The evening was accompanied by a musical programme.
