The fifth Annual Scientific Conference of the Central European Academy aims to bring together outstanding young researchers from across the Central European region. It provides a platform for the next generation of legal scholars to engage in discussions on the most relevant and topical legal issues facing the region today. By facilitating the exchange of ideas, innovative regulatory solutions, and effective best practices, the conference seeks to foster deeper cooperation among neighboring countries and contribute to the development of a shared Central European approach to these challenges. The event will be structured around several thematic panels, each organized by Ph.D. students of the Central European Comparative Law program at the Ferenc Deák Doctoral School of Law, University of Miskolc and research interns at the Central European Academy. The panels will cover a broad range of legal fields, including constitutional law, family law, commercial law, criminal law, AI law and data protection, labor law, EU law, and international law. The conference will traditionally open with a panel featuring distinguished scholars and constitutional court judges from the region, whose inspiring contributions will set the stage for the discussions ahead.

*The event is private and by invitation only.
