The Central European Academy held its annual Scientific Conference on 6-7 October 2022.
The aim of the conference was to bring together young researchers and PhD students from selected disciplines and fields of law and to give them the opportunity to present their research results to an international audience of leading and young researchers. Participants were invited to present on the following topics:
- Issues of adoption in the light of the European Convention on Human Rights
- Development of space law in the Central and Eastern European region
- Financial autonomy of local authorities
- The consumer's legal position and rights if the goods are not in conformity with the contract
- The legal framework of the crime of torture in the legislation and jurisdiction of certain Central European countries
- Environmental protection in national constitutional law in the light of the jurisdiction of the ECtHR
- Theoretical and practical issues regarding human reproduction
