Introduction
Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration, Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) in Toruń. Dobrzeniecki’s research focuses on legal theory and philosophy of law, issues such as transformational justice, problems of the erosion of state sovereignty in the postmodern age, legal pluralism, development of transnational law, sectoral global laws and interimperial law formation. He has authored and co-authored books e.g. „Law versus emergency situation. Between legalism and necessity”, „Lex informatica”, „Logical issues of jurisprudence”, „Reprivatization. Problems of legislation and application of law”, „Law and the ethos of cyberspace”. He has given numerous lectures and presentations at international scientific conferences.

Prof. Dobrzeniecki has carried out national and European research projects. He graduated from Jean Monnet Centre for European Studies and from Faculty of History NCU with a master degree in History of Art.
