Barnabás Lenkovics' life and work were always imbued with the conviction that the meaning of human existence lies in the pursuit of goodness. With his positive outlook on life, he sought hope, opportunity, and meaning in every situation. Over the past decades, he has given us countless gifts to take with us on our journey – thoughts, teachings, and examples that we will cherish as his legacy.
As professor emeritus, he compiled a “catalogue of ideas” by editing three volumes of his older and newer writings: Man and Property was published in 2013, Man and Law in 2018, and Man and Humanity in 2023 in Hungarian. The author has compiled the present selection from these books, which has been published in English as the first volume of the “Quintessence Monograph” series by CEA Publishing.
