Her research interests focus on religious law, freedom of conscience and religion, and comparative law, with particular emphasis on the legal systems of Latin America and their relation to European standards. In her analyses, she combines legal theory with an institutional-comparative approach, taking into account the case law of national and international courts. In 2011, she completed postgraduate studies in Latin American studies at the Centre for Latin American Studies at the University of Warsaw, which enabled her to collaborate systematically with research centres in, among others, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil. She has been a full member of the Polish Society for Ecclesiastical Law (since 2016) and an associate member of the Latin American Consortium for Religious Freedom (CLLR – since 2016), which enables her to participate actively in international debates on the regulation of religious freedom and the secular nature of the state in the Latin American and comparative contexts. She is the author of numerous academic articles, chapters in monographs, expert reports and peer-reviewed comparative studies in the field of religious and constitutional law. In her latest research, she addresses issues such as the transformation of models of secularism, the protection of the right to freedom of conscience and religion, Christian values in legal systems, and the impact of constitutional changes on the status of religious organisations.
