Michał Gierycz, political scientist, associate professor at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw (UKSW) and visiting professor at St. John Paul II Institute of Culture at Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome (Angelicum), Deputy Editor of Christianity-World-Politics journal, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at UKSW from 2020 to 2025. His research interests include relations between religion and politics, the European Union, political anthropology and Catholic social teaching. His scientific achievements were awarded by i.a. John Paul II’s Catholic University of Lublin („Potulicka Award” for outstanding scientific achievement in the spirit of Christian humanism) and by the Society of Catholic Publishing Houses in Poland (Award „FENIKS”).
