Introduction
Michael Siman, Prof. Ing. PhDr. JUDr., PhD., DEA (1977) is a professor of international law at the Faculty of Law of the Pan-European University in Bratislava. In addition, he is a lawyer and court expert specializing in European Union law and private international law. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Finance and the Faculty of International Relations in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. He completed his doctoral studies in EU law at the Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg.
