Marta Luty-Michalak holds a PhD in sociology and is an assistant professor at the Institute of Sociological Sciences at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. She is a member of the Polish Gerontological Society and the Management Board of the Warsaw Section of the Polish Sociological Society. She is also an Expert on Social Affairs at the Laboratory of Architecture 60+ Foundation (LAB60+).
In her research, she focuses on demographic and social processes in contemporary European countries. She also combines demographic issues with analyses of family life and professional work, pointing out, among other things, the importance of value systems in the contemporary social and demographic changes.
She is the author of peer-reviewed scientific articles and co-author of scientific publications in this field. She is also the author and executor of numerous research and implementation projects.
