Introduction

Lénárd Sándor is Head of the Law School and International Law Workshop of Mathias Corvinus College, Associate Professor at Károli Gáspár Reformed University and Director of the Barna Horváth Law and Freedom Circle, which collaborates with the Federalist Society of the USA. He graduated summa cum laude from Pázmány Péter Catholic University with a scholarship from the Republic of Hungary. He then obtained a law degree with distinction and an MBA in International Business from Canisius University in the United States. Her PhD thesis in law and political science examined how the business operations of transnational and platform-based corporations manifest themselves and how they impact the international human rights legal protection regime.

He conducted his academic research at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, and on scholarship at Aarhus University in Denmark and Osgoode Hall Law School in Canada, and defended his doctoral thesis summa cum laude. After graduating from law school, he worked as a legal secretary at the Budapest Public Prosecutor’s Office, later as a deputy prosecutor, then as a senior advisor at the Constitutional Court and as a professional advisor at the European Parliament. In 2019, he was a visiting scholar at the Federal Judicial Center of the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
