Gyula Fábián is a lawyer, associate professor at the Faculty of Law, Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca (Romania), and the director of the Master’s programme „EU Private Law” in the same institution. He was a Herder scholarship holder at the University of Vienna. For 26 years he was a prosecutor, before his retirement being Deputy Prosecutor General of the Cluj Court of Appeal. He teaches the subjects „EU Institutional Law”, „Public International Law” and „Litigation of EU Courts”, respectively „Rights of Ethnic and National Minorities”. He is also a trainer at the National Institute of Magistracy (Romania) for „European Union Law” and the author of several books and studies in Romanian, Hungarian, English and German.
He is member of the editorial board of the ‘Central European Journal of Comparative Law’. He is author in the following books of the CEA Publishing: (a) Migration and Central Europe (2024). He is the author of scientific articles published in the following scientific journal(s) of the CEA Publishing: (a) Law, Identity and Values.
