Anikó Raisz, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Public International Law and Comparative Law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, University of Miskolc. She is the founding director of the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law, based in Budapest. She was formerly State Secretary for Public Administration at the Ministry of Justice and State Secretary for the Environment at the Ministry of Technology and Industry, and is currently State Secretary for the Environment at the Ministry of Energy.

She is a member of the editorial boards of several journals, holds positions in the European Public Law Organisation and the Comité Européen de Droit Rural, and co-chairs the National Council for Sustainable Development of the National Assembly. She is PhD supervisor in the „Central European Comparative Law” PhD programme at the Ferenc Deák Doctoral School of Law of the University of Miskolc.
