Professor profile
Introduction
Miha Šepec is an Associate Professor and Head of the Institute for Criminal Law at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Law. He graduated in 2010 and earned his doctoral degree at Faculty of Law, University of Maribor in 2015 on the topic of cybercrime. He is the sole editor of the Commentary on the General Part of the Slovene Criminal Code, released in 2021 and the sole editor of the Commentary of the Criminal Procedural Act, released in 2022. He has coordinated the project “European Investigation Order – legal analysis and practical dilemmas of international cooperation – EIO-LAPD” which was funded by the European Commission’s JUST programme.

He has published more than two hundred contributions on criminal law, criminal procedural law and cybercrime.
