Introduction
Goran Dakovic is the Head of Agency Reviews at the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), where he oversees the coordination of external reviews of quality assurance agencies in accordance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). Before joining ENQA, Goran worked as a Policy and Project Officer in the Institutional Development Unit at the European University Association (EUA). s.

In this role, he contributed to policy development and European-level projects in areas such as quality assurance, learning and teaching, and the recognition of qualifications and prior learning. He was also actively engaged in EUA’s Institutional Evaluation Programme (IEP), with a particular focus on system-level evaluations of higher education sectors. From 2020 to 2024, Goran served as a member of the Executive Board of the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR), where he also held the positions of Treasurer and Vice-President. Earlier in his career, he led the Research Unit at the International School for Social and Business Studies in Slovenia. Goran holds a Master’s degree in Public Policies from the University of Twente, the Netherland
