The conference, which the Central European Academy traditionally organized for the fourth time, was held with the aim of bringing together the region’s outstanding young researchers. The event provided a platform for the next generation of legal scholars, giving them the opportunity to discuss the most pressing legal issues affecting the region. Through the exchange of ideas, innovative regulatory solutions, and the sharing of best practices, the conference aimed to deepen cooperation between neighboring countries and contribute to the development of a common Central European approach to addressing these challenges.

The event was organized around several thematic panels, which were coordinated by junior students of the Central European Academy and doctoral candidates participating in the Central European Comparative Law program at the Deák Ferenc Doctoral School of Law and Political Sciences at the University of Miskolc. The panels covered a wide range of legal fields, including constitutional law, energy law, contract law, family law, financial law, criminal law, labor law, EU law, and international law. In addition, the conference devoted separate panels to presenting current legal challenges arising within the legal systems of Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, and Serbia.
