The aim of the research is to examine how the Member States of the European Union, and in particular the individual institutions, work (and can work) to achieve co-existence and what processes and institutions may need to be rethought (e.g. redefining EU and Member State competences, revisiting the principle of pre-emption, better understanding the process of federalism, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
