At the beginning of April, CEA organized its very first Slovenian Cultural Evening. Although Slovenia is a very small country in terms of size, its culture, history, and landscapes turned out to be incredibly rich and fascinating. It is one of the rare countries that has it all \u2014 the Alps, mountains, the sea, numerous mountain ranges and rivers, as well as lakes, springs, karst phenomena, waterfalls, and caves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite its small population of around 2 million people, Slovenia is known worldwide for its many talents and athletes \u2014 just to mention a few: Luka Don\u010di\u0107, Janja Garnbret, Tina Maze, Primo\u017e Rogli\u010d, Tadej Poga\u010dar, Petra Majdi\u010d, and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, during this cultural evening, we didn\u2019t just focus on well-known facts. The participants listened to Slovenian music together, learned about the Slovenian legal system, and got to know the most important institutions. They also became familiar with key figures from the world of law \u2014 famous Slovenian lawyers and law firms from both past and present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As an extra curiosity, we also explored the unique characteristics of the Slovenian language and discovered why it is considered one of the most difficult languages to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Long story short \u2014 the Slovenian Cultural Evening was truly a one-of-a-kind experience, and we are so happy that so many of you joined us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
