The prestigious award is given to the author of the best English-or French-language doctoral dissertation of outstanding scientific quality in the field of international human rights.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The award is named after Ren\u00e9 Cassin, Nobel Peace Prize-winning French jurist, the main drafter of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and former President of the European Court of Human Rights. Thanks to this significant international professional recognition, the awarded dissertation will be published by the renowned Parisian publisher \u00c9ditions Pedone. The Academy is particularly proud that our colleague received this prestigious award this year in the European Parliament.
