A discussion on the presence of religious symbols in public space is often huge emotional intensity, reflecting the ratio to the basic values on which European culture and civilization is based. It takes strength in recent years and undoubtedly requires adequate ordering, which can be helpful to legal arguments. Therefore, as part of the International Research Network coordinated by Ferenc M\u00e1dl Institute of Comparative Law in Budapest in cooperation with the Institute of Justice in Warsaw, the team of experts from Croatia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary was appointed, which studied the issue of freedom of conscience and Religion. One of the key testing effects is the publication entitled Religious Symbols in the Public Sphere. Analysis on Certain Central European Countries, ed. Prof. Pawe\u0142 Sobczyk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The publication contains the first internationally on a national scale, compromising the development of issues related to the legal aspects of the presence of religious symbols in the public in the seven Central European countries and extremely valuable conclusions and postulates de Lege Ferenda in the field of religious freedom protection. As a rule, the use of religious symbols in public space is not prohibited, and their importance often exceeds the religious dimension.
