On 22-23 February 2024, the Central European Academy organised a conference entitled "Normative aspects of family protection and family development -international perspective", with the cooperation of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Miskolc, the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law, the Consulate General of Hungary in Krakow, the Central European Comparative Law Association and the Polish Association of Comparative Legal Sciences.
The CEA's research group "Normative aspects of family protection and family development -international perspective" has been studying a number of problems relating to the legal aspects of demographic development in Europe. The scientific research focuses on families, parents (legal guardians) and children. These issues relate to problems of interest to the various branches of law in the countries of Central Europe.
The conference on "Normative aspects of family protection and family development -international perspective" was organised in cooperation with the Ministry of European Union Affairs in preparation for the Hungarian EU Presidency.
