On 1 December 2022, the international scientific conference "The Right to Privacy in the Digital Age" took place within the walls of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The conference consisted of four opening lectures and three sessions, in which a total of 13 speakers presented their papers. In the opening panel, moderated by János Ede Szilágyi (Head of the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law, Professor and Head of the Department of Agricultural and Labour Law at the University of Miskolc), the results and achievements of the activities of the Central European Academy (CEA) were presented by Tímea Heinerné Barzó, Director General. The CEA's achievements in 2022 included the organisation of 49 events, consisting mainly of lectures, conferences, roundtables and debates, press interviews, webinars and workshops. Some of CEA's activities were also presented. This year, in addition to the numerous conferences and webinars, the coordination of the Central European Professors' Network, the Central European Junior Programme and the CEA Publishing House continued.
