Professor profile

About

Sanja Savčić is an Full Professor who graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Novi Sad in 1999. She has received several awards, including the „Promising Generation” certificate from the Norwegian Embassy in 2000 and the WUS scholarship for emerging young researchers for the 2001/2002 academic year. After obtaining her diploma, she worked at the Novi Sad Commercial Court. In 2001, she was appointed as an assistant for the course „Introduction to Civil Law and Property Law.” From October 2004 to February 2005, and again from June to October 2005, she worked at the Max Planck Institute in Munich. In 2010, she defended her doctoral dissertation at the Belgrade Faculty of Law, which was awarded with distinction. In 2013, she was appointed as an Adjunct Professor, and in 2018, as an Associate Professor.

She is also a deputy member of the Ethics Committee at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic and a reviewer in the field of social sciences education and research.

She was member of the research group ‘The impact of digital platforms and social media on freedom of expression and pluralism’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2021.She was a member of the research group ‘Constitutional framework for the protection of future generations and the environment’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2022.

She is author of scientific articles published in the following scientific journal(s) of the CEA Publishing: (a) Law, Identity and Values.
