About
Anna Molnár is a Professor at the University of Public Service (Budapest) and Head of the Department of International Security Studies. She is the Head of the International Security and Defence Studies bachelor and master programme. She was responsible for the International Public Management bachelor’s programme and the International Public Service Relations Master at the University of Public Service (2016-2021). She was the Head of Programme of MA programme in international studies at the University of Pannonia (Institute of Social Sciences and International Studies, Veszprém) (2010-2013). She received her PhD in international relations from the Corvinus University of Budapest (2003).

Her research interest focuses on the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy and Common Security and Defence Policy and on Italian history and politics. She was a visiting professor at the University of Rome (La Sapienza) in 2023. She has actively participated in the work of the European Security and Defence College since 2013.

She was a member of the research group ‘Common defence policy – the legal framework for the development of the European defence industry’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2023.
She is PhD supervisor in the „Central European Comparative Law” PhD programme at the Ferenc Deák Doctoral School of Law of the University of Miskolc.
