He was the (co)leader of the bilateral scientific project titled „Legal Analysis and Development Proposals for the Energy Legislation of the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia” (2018-2019). He has participated in numerous scientific research projects, including six international ones. Frane Staničić is a full professor at the Department of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb.

He has published four authored books, seventy-six scientific articles, and over three hundred other works. His research interests and fields of expertise include administrative procedures, administrative disputes, expropriation and other public law restrictions on property, regulatory authorities, and the relationship between the state and the church, among others.
