About
Emőd Veress (PhD, dr. habil., DSc) is a full professor at the University of Miskolc, Hungary, and a research professor at the Central European Academy belonging to the same university. He also teaches at the Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He has participated in numerous international and national research projects. One of his research areas is the organisation of the judiciary. A prolific author, he contributes to many reputable journals and has published several monographs. Additionally, he is a member of multiple editorial boards and scientific organisations, including the Central European Journal of Comparative Law and the Hungarian Yearbook of Private International Law.

He has lectured at universities and conferences worldwide. Among his honours, he has received the Knight Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit and the Academy Award of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
