About
Michal Radvan is the Vice-Dean for External and International Affairs and a Professor of Financial Law at the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. His area of expertise is tax law. He is the author of five books, approximately 70 scientific book chapters, and over 120 peer-reviewed articles. He is a member of the European Association of Tax Law Professors and the International Center for Public Finance and Tax Law Research.

He lectures on tax law and local taxation in many countries around the world, including South Africa, Poland, India, and others. He is also a member of the Financial Law Committee of the Government Legislative Council.

He is a member of the research group ‘Equality in an Ever-Integrating Europe’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2024.

He is PhD supervisor in the „Central European Comparative Law” PhD programme at the Ferenc Deák Doctoral School of Law of the University of Miskolc.
