Michał Poniatowski, born in 1983, holds a Doctorate in Law (LLD) in Canon Law (2012) and is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Canon Law, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. He is a lawyer and lecturer at the Warsaw District Bar Council. Michał Poniatowski’s areas of expertise include canon law, matrimonial law, legal issues related to non-governmental organisations, as well as branches of law such as criminal law, civil law, and administrative law particularly from a comparative perspective.

His judicial practice enables him to analyse the effectiveness of the law, the application of parties’ rights and obligations in the justice system, and to observe the reactions of parties to court decisions after the conclusion of proceedings.
