Professor profile

About

Michal Maslen graduated from the Faculty of Law at Trnava University in 2009. Since 2009, he has been working at the Department of Administrative Law, Environmental Law, and Financial Law at the same institution. His area of expertise is environmental protection issues within Slovakian legislation. Michal Maslen’s additional research areas include administrative law, protection of fundamental rights, and issues related to administrative responsibility. From December 2014 to December 2017, he was a member of the Permanent Working Committee on Administrative Law of the Legislative Council of the Slovak Republic. Since May 1, 2015, he has been the head of the Department of Administrative Law, Environmental Law, and Financial Law at Trnava University’s Faculty of Law.

He is currently a member of the Appeals Committee of the National Security Authority of the Slovak Republic and the Appeals Committee of the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic.
