Matija Damjan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil and Commercial Law at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Law and serves as the Secretary of the Comparative Law Institute at the Faculty, where he is also engaged as a research associate.

In his work, Matija Damjan primarily focuses on civil law, intellectual property law, and the law of the information society. He is the author of over thirty scientific articles addressing issues in these areas. Additionally, he has authored or co-authored several scientific monographs and legislative drafts. He is currently involved in long-term research projects related to the legal challenges of the information society.
