Katarína Šmigová is Dean and Associate Professor at the Pan-European University, focusing on areas of international law that affect the individual, Law Studies (Dr., Bratislava), International Criminal Law (LL.M, Sussex University, 2008), International and Comparative Human Rights Studies (Dîploma, Strasbourg, 2010), PhD in International Law (Bratislava, 2010).

She is PhD supervisor in the „Central European Comparative Law” PhD programme at the Ferenc Deák Doctoral School of Law of the University of Miskolc.
