About

Bojan Tubić graduated from Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad in 2003. He earned his LLM degree from the same Faculty with thesis “The Use of Local Legal Remedies as a Condition of Admissibility in International Proceedings” in 2007. At the Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad, he defended his doctoral dissertation “Judicial Review of Acts of International Organizations, and especially of the European Communities and the European Union” in 2012.

In 2016 he graduated at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad – Department of History. In 2003 he was elected as assistant trainee at the Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad, for the course Public International Law. He was promoted to assistant in 2007, Assistant Professor in 2014 and Associate Professor in 2019. Since 2015 he is Vice-Dean for International Cooperation. Dr Bojan Tubić was acting assistant minister at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and Ministry of Education in the period 2018-2023. He teaches Public International Law, Introduction to the European Union Law, International Humanitarian Law and Diplomatic and Consular Law at bachelor studies. Also, he teaches International Relations, International Protection of Environment and Security and Human Rights at master studies and Public International Law and International and European Anti-discrimination Law at PhD studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad. Dr Bojan Tubić was on study visits abroad: Faculty of Law, University of Graz (2005), the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg (2007), European University Viadrina in Frankfurt an der Oder (2007), Lumsa University (2018), Comenius University in Bratislava (2018). He has participated in international scientific conferences in the country and abroad. The areas of his scientific interests include Public International Law, EU law and human rights. He speaks English, and has working knowledge of French, Italian, Spanish and German. He is author of two books and author/co-author of more than 60 academic papers.

He was a member of the research group ‘The Future of Coexistence in the European Union’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2023. He is a member of the research group ‘Equality in an Ever-Integrating Europe’ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2024.
