About
Nóra Béres, after graduation from the Law School of the University of Miskolc, made postgradual studies in international criminal law at Salzburg Law School on International Criminal Law, Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Law, Salzburg University; at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies, Leiden University; as well as at the Irish Centre for Human Rights, National University of Ireland. She has a PhD in International Public Law (University of Miskolc, 2020) and an LLM in European Human Rights Law (ELTE University, 2021). She began her academic career in 2014 at the University of Miskolc where she teaches international public law as an assistant professor.

At the same time, she is a senior researcher at the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law in Budapest conducting public law research projects. Her main field of interest is Individuals as Subjects of International Law, i.e., International Criminal Law and International Human Rights Law.
