Benjamin Flander is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Criminal Law and Security at the University of Maribor and a senior research associate at the Law Institute of the Koper Science and Research Centre in Slovenia.

Author and co-author of three scientific monographs and more than 60 scientific articles, chapters and other scientific texts. He has been a member of several national and international research groups (among others ProfNet’s 2021-2024 research groups). In 2012 and 2015 (fourth evaluation round), he was an evaluator of the Group of Anti-Corruption States (GRECO, Council of Europe).
