About
Agnieszka Mikos-Sitek, Assistant Professor, Doctor of Juristic Science, holds an MA (1999) and doctorate (2005) from the Faculty of Law at Canon Law and the Administration of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Since 2003, she has been associated with the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, first as an associate and, since 2006, as an assistant professor in the Department of Financial Law. Her research and published works mainly deal with banking law, central banking, budget law (in the field of state and local government financial management), and healthcare financing.

She is also the scientific editor of commentary on the Public Finance Act (C.H. Beck) and co-editor of the scientific commentary on Banking Law and ‘The Law of Monetary Transactions’ (Wolters Kluwer). Since 2021, she has served as the Head of the Publishing House of the Institute of Justice.

She was a member of the research group `Economic Governance´ in the Central European Professors’ Network 2023. She is a member of the research group ‘Social exclusion of older people – legal responses’ in the Polish-Hungarian Professors’ Network 2024.
